Text message tickets
Why checkout asks for your phone number, and exactly what we send.
What you are agreeing to
When you buy tickets on virdenlive.ca, the payment page asks for a mobile number. Entering it is how you ask us to text your tickets — it is optional, and leaving it blank changes nothing about your order. Your tickets are also emailed to you and shown on screen the moment you pay.
Exactly what we send
One text per purchase. It contains a secure link to your tickets — the same page the email links to — which you show at the gate. We never text a QR code as a picture, because a photo in your camera roll goes stale if a ticket is re-sent or refunded.
A real example:
Virden Live: 2 tickets for Oil Capitals vs. Northern Manitoba Blizzard, Sat, Sep 19, 7:30PM. Show at the gate: https://virdenlive.ca/print?session_id=…
How often
Once per order, at the moment your payment succeeds. There are no recurring messages, no reminders, and no marketing texts of any kind. If you buy tickets to three games, you get three texts — one for each purchase, and nothing in between.
Stopping them
Reply STOP to any message and you will not receive another. Reply HELP for help. You can also simply leave the phone field blank at checkout — it is not required to buy.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Who this is
Virden Live is operated by 3CTech Ltd., which is also the merchant on record for your ticket purchase. Your number is used to deliver the tickets you bought and to reach you about that order — for example if a game is cancelled. It is not sold, and it is not used for marketing. See our Privacy policy and Terms of sale.
